When will we get a del Toro remake of this one?

I unreservedly loved del Toro's telling of FRANKENSTEIN. It seemed a deeply personal vision focusing on the father-son dynamic found so in so many of GDT's films. Plus you can never go wrong with his trademark circular window motif! A sumptuous achievement. And now to revisit 1931 . . .

Dear writers, if a publisher rejects your query, synopsis, or proposal, do not, under any circumstances, explain to the publisher that they're missing out on an opportunity/your genius. Just don't. Publishers make decisions based on an array of factors. Also, you're probably not a genius.

Gonna do a full listen of Bauhaus's catalogue today. Longtime favourites. Starting with their debut single, "Bela Lugosi's Dead" (1979), although I'm listening to the "Bela Sessions" that includes the three extra songs recorded during that early session, "Some Faces", "Bite My Hip", and "Harry".

I bought this one, and loved it. Good ghost stories, includes an interview with the author, and a short biography - and really enjoyed reading both. It helped me understand the author's headspace when coming up with the settings for the stories featured.
