That is not the #NDIS we were promised. It was individualised support to live our lives on an equal basis with other Australians. This was already my life. Disability ended a career dedicated to helping other horses and humans. To #KeepThePromise allows me to keep my ordinary promise to my own.

What my NDIS supports have NOT done: Any of said horse care or treatment. What my NDIS supports HAVE enabled: Me. All those mobility, executive function + energy conservation tasks that otherwise threaten my ability to apply all my expertise and knowledge of my horse to fighting for his life.
