Lassi has had huge peaks and valleys so far in his #Crew96 career. He is either assisting/scoring and making a big impact, or he is invisible and actively being a net negative for the Crew. He is seriously underwhelming and is not worth the INT spot he is on. I’d rather have the extra INT for a CB.

I was a huge AZ fan, but he is too inconsistent to be a starter, and with his contract ending at the end of the year his new deal will impact the cap. No bueno. Also, with Mrowka/Habroune coming through, I think AZ is unfortunately gone at the end of the season.

DeJuan Jones seems better on the right but man they’re paying him a ton to be a backup, hopefully a transfer is coming for either Arfsten or Farsi so Jones can slide right in to either of their spots.

Cheba has really taken a leap forward this year, I think it’d be dumb to take Malte out from LCB, so Cheba will have to stay at CB where he has really been great at pinging balls over the top as well. Very pacy and good recovery speed. The one thing that he can not do at that central spot is…

I’m watching the CCC game for the first time and yeesh what a giveaway by Moreira

A couple of my concerns are what everyone else has been saying: lack of depth and the loss of Cucho. It is very hard to stay healthy for so long, and Columbus has managed to avoid the injury bug these past two years. One or two long-term injuries can really derail the season thanks to no depth.

A few things I’m looking forward to the most this year: Youth development. Taha played all of 89 minutes last year, and Mrowka played 1 minute. I am expecting more minutes from those two players this year, especially with a thinner midfield.
