Hi! I had no idea my Maudlin House poem was posted last week! Give it a read. It's another one of my ekphrastic prose poems from the new manuscript (which is totally ready to be published if anyone wants it!).

I think we're going to see a HUGE proliferation of #horror over the next four years. We will need the catharsis, and of all sorts: splatterpunk, weird, cosmic/eldritch, folk/cult, Gothic, and bubblegum, to name a few. Horror contains multitudes. Horror can heal. Horror lets us know we aren't alone.

This is still my advice: Become a writer anyway. Fuck it, do it, it won't save you, but it's still a beautiful dream to write novels and short stories and poems and mingle with other dreamers and make art and laugh in the face of death. And writing is constant death. Live más.

This is so real. I actually do have like, a concept for a couple of OCs that is TOTALLY different from their canon iterations… like technically I guess it isn’t fan fiction, but it certainly is an AU haha
