The U.S. Justice Department says Kilmar Abrego Garcia has been returned to the U.S. from El Salvador after an indictment in Tennessee on human smuggling charges. His wife has said that he transported groups of workers between job sites.

The Marshall County Democratic Executive Committee welcomed Chris Claypole For WV who has filed pre candidacy papers to run the WV Senate, District 2. He is employed by WVU Medicine. Chris spoke about why he is running for office, and what he hoped to accomplish when elected.

We also welcomed Stephanie Tomana, who previously ran for the WV House of Delegates. Stephanie, a teacher, spoke about how she enjoyed campaigning with other candidates and what she learned last time she ran for office. She spoke of how we all can make a difference. She’s not declared yet.
