The Marshall County Democrats hosted our annual picnic on Sunday, September 14th at the Riverfront Shelter in Moundsville. We welcomed people from Ohio, Marshall, Wetzel, and Marion Counties.

We lost a true public servant, when Walt Helmick passed. Agriculture Commissioner also served with distinction in the WV Legislature. His iniative, “Farm to Table” is now recognized as the best way to sustain small family farmers. We send our sympathy to his wife, Rita and children.
