Sums it up. 15 yrs of Westminster austerity has caused misery, public services slashed & benefits cut, anaemic economic growth, fuelling Brexit vote & rise of Reform. Labour promised change but are continuing failed Tory austerity. Scotland's only way for a better future is through independence.

Labour stood up for WASPI women - right until they got into government. Now they’re nowhere to be seen. The SNP have supported these women throughout, and that’s why we’ve put a Bill before Westminster calling for them to be compensated for this historic injustice.

Labour voted against SNP plans for £1bn visitor levy funding for housing, voting with the Tories and Lib Dem’s for 13% of that, just £135m instead. A complete missed opportunity. No leadership, no vision, just keeping the right wing parties on side so they can cling to power.

Positive a visitor levy was agreed today, but also a real missed opportunity. Disappointing that Labour councillors listened to their Tory and Lib Dem pals, only agreeing to £5m for social and affordable housing. The SNP proposal was £20m equal to 1k council houses. What’s the point in Labour?
