i *really* need to internalize this. it feels impossible not to compare myself to others and it's stripped me of a lot of fun activities :( i think i understand why envy's a "deadly sin" now: it's incredibly destructive and hurts not just me, but everyone else who's subject to my dumb jealousy ;-;
