We've had information that the Shropshire Hunt are hunting around Sansaw. A team of monitors is on its way to try to ensure no animals are harmed. If you see the hunt and are concerned or think that they are hunting illegally contact the police on 101, or 999 if you consider it an emergency.

Sat 30 August 2025 - Meet: Hollies Farm, Aston Rogers. Home of the notorious and unpleasant Barry Rogers. At 6.30am we received a tip off from unhappy locals, informing us that the Shropshire Hunt were cub hunting at Hurst Farm, Westbury, surrounding woodland, with the hounds in cry.

🦊Hunt Alert🦊 The hunt are currently in Shipton, Much Wenlock. Hounds and horses seen. If you see the hunt and are concerned or think that they are hunting illegally, please contact the police on 101, or 999 if you consider it an emergency. Gather photographic and film evidence when possible.

[6/7] Although the teams heard hounds speaking several times during the day they did not hear them in cry, so we hope no wildlife were harmed. The teams regrouped and debriefed at a nearby hostelry over oat-milk coffees and facon sandwiches.

[5/7] back to the meet, presumably because they were out searching for the poor hound we saw isolated from the pack and desperately trying to get back to them. We hope she found them, and that she didn’t suffer any punishment for becoming separated.

[4/7] lanes to Longden Manor where they met up with support vehicles on a stubble field. The hunt did a few laps of the Manor’s land, watched by our volunteers and drone, and most of the field packed up and left at about 7.30am. The huntsman and whip were a little late (OK, an hour and a half late)

[3/7] with little more than one hi-vis vest and a couple of head torches for protection. Much to the team’s relief the hounds, who had been spread the width of the road, and riders made it to Longden and off the main road without any incidents or injuries, then headed through

[2/7] They were amazed to see convicted criminal huntsman Daniel Cherriman and newly-demoted former North Shrops huntsman Paul Davis, now subservient as Cherriman’s whip, taking riders and hounds along an unlit single-carriageway national speed limit road in darkness,

A hardy, if bleary-eyed band of monitors headed out ridiculously early on Saturday morning to keep an eye on the now-merged Shropshire Hunt. The team spotted the hunt leaving the kennels in Annscroft at a few minutes after 5.30am. [1/7]
