Had an incredible sighting off Nanao Island Shantou, China of humpback dolphins. There are only 12 left of the local population and we spotted a group of 6 while driving! We stopped the car, caused minor traffic chaos but managed to get some photos including id's! My first car based survey!

Our final paper for 2024: link.springer.com/article/10.1... We provide rmax & fishing mortality for Endangered Spinetail & Bentfin Devil Rays. We demonstrate an approach to assess data-poor species.
