I spent the evening looking through shelter pages for dogs to rescue. It is heartbreaking not to be able to save them all. I’m grateful Lily made it.

The news is abysmal so I’m thinking about the first two dogs I helped rescue. They are these little dudes, whose owner had died the day before I picked them up. They are a sweet bonded pair who eventually found their way to a warm home. #rescuedogs #dogsofbluesky

That time I took Lily to the emergency vet because of strange coughing and they dismissed me because they thought I was just a paranoid new pet owner when in fact she did have a medical issue. F***ers! Two vets later she got the treatment she needed. Always trust your gut! #WontLookWednesday
