Got messaged some time ago that you shouldn't post your purchase history as that could be used to get into your Steam account, cause it can be used to "verify" you. that's not how that works. You'll need receipts / keys you have activated... *This* is more like how you get your account stolen.

Back in those days I bought mostly physical... so my first purchases were way past when I created my Steam account... also yes, I refunded L4D 1 because the German version was horribly censored... good thing it was fairly easy back then to get someone to gift you an uncensored copy.

It's interesting to see people outraged about the ai-remix "apps" in discord just now... it has been there for 7 months already... before that they even had their own implementation as an experiment. the signs have been there for years at this point if you factor in their wumpus chat-bot-experiment

Yes, we can all laugh at this, but it also demonstrates the entire point of the AI push: They want to make you dependent on it to inform you, and then control what it tells you. It’s why they buy newspapers and social media, too. Elon is showing the billionaire playbook in the dumbest way possible.
