On this #Caturday, we're here to remind you that blood pressure checks for cats are very impaw-tant! Hypertension can cause or worsen #FelineCKD, and cause numerous health problems, including blindness.

The correct answer is b. Decreased urination is NOT a sign of Feline Chronic Kidney Disease. Increased drinking and urination, as well as weight loss and lethargy are all signs of #FelineCKD.

It's time to talk about blood pressure!! Do your #cats get blood pressure checks? They're especially important for seniors. #FelineCKD can cause & worsen hypertension, & hypertension can cause kidney damage, & many other issues, including blindness. Please share!!

I did... though unfortunately my cat was pretty far along in his CKD at the time, & I didn't get to work with it for long. 😞 But I did find it helpful the few times we did use it.
