Good news. The really solid lump in the dogs jaw is most likely an infection. Hopefully some antibiotics will fix it, if not, a tooth extraction will be the next step as it's based right at the root of the tooth. So while expensive, it's great news.

Dad is out of surgery. Going for a drive to see him tomorrow. Now my doggo has a growth on his jaw that we just took him to the vet to get a very expensive xray on. If it turns out to be cancer, I am going to just fall into a heap. I am not equipped for everything to keep coming at me all at once.
