Successful haul from the card expo today! Traded four of my six PC ETBs and my English trade binder is completely empty

This was sort of my mentality back in 2014 when I joined the fandom. I worked with two others in my community and helped run smaller events for about 2 years before stepping away to focus on graduate school. 3 to 450 participants in about a year and felt successful in terms of people finding friends

Since I was going to Round1 @jazzberryjam.bsky.social asked me to pick up some of the HSR swag. There was quite a rush for the pillows they had available but I was careful to navigate the claw machines and won a few prizes. Planning to go to another one next week during my trip

The thing about being a private tutor is that there are so may parallels with my artist friends. Setting your own rates, balancing taking on clients with life stuff, personal taxes, small business expenses.
