Been putting off playing the new Deltarune stuff because I knew I had played the first two chapters before the game was ever on Steam so it didn't have my save. I'm now realizing I most likely played the game on a laptop I no longer have and didn't salvage the save files from appdata. Bummer.

I mostly surrendered to streaming video (though probably clawing that one back soon tbh) but I'll be damned if I ever listen to my music in any way other than files stored directly on my phone and/or computer

The friction-reducing elements that Silksong introduces late in the game for making the pursuit of 100% more enjoyable almost make up for how rough my experience was with the first two acts. Almost.

I have returned to and have been having more fun with Silksong, but there is still this strong undercurrent of "this game really, really hates you" through the entire thing. Some real IWBTG type "go fuck yourself idiot" moments. Doesn't feel good.
