Happy Groundhog Day

Award 2.0 was fire yesterday after a co-worker made a list of all the things they didn't try to do or messed up on for 1 single item of side work they "did." (They already had multiple complaints about not doing "men's work", not answering phones, & otherwise not doing the job.)

🎇Happy New Year!🎆 Once again, my yearly update on last year's New Year's resolutions. (And as always, if you just survived 2025, good for you.)

On this 1 of the busiest shopping days of the year 2.0 decided what was important was to: fuck with the shots, front a few random things, fill some of the ice, randomly go into a cooler, take the trash bags out & not replace them for 15 min, and otherwise ignore that we are busy.

It appears HR is still batting 100% at picking the worst people for the job. Award 2.0 ignored a customer directly in front of them & refuses to answer the store phone. (Personal calls to make sure their high school-aged kids ate dinner are ok for them to make while "working.")

As science involves writing it down I almost noted my one manager complaining that the shots were overfilled to measure how long it was untill she then decided that they were underfilled, but I thought I wouldn't complain about needed to psychically determine what was correct this time. . . 1

Did 1 of my New Year resolutions last weekend an got a tattoo. It is an extreme close up as it's on the top of my foot. Also I know a couple spots have slight blowout, it is detailed work on foot skin, it was a risk I was willing to take.

Please mail by Labor Day the RSVP for my out of state for the whole family Thanksgiving weekend wedding is such a my brother-in-law thing to do, I should have not penciled in that it was due at the start of September.

Manager decided we only need to order shots every 2 weeks, everyone that fills shots disagreed. So instead of a reasonable amount coming in this week, there was a ton & none of us were working today.
