The final home of Sigmund Freud, the founder of psychoanalysis, and his daughter Anna Freud
Jofi was Sigmund Freud's beloved Chow Chow dog, he would sit in his psychoanalytic sessions, acting as a calm presence for patients, and even yawning as sessions ended! We also sell Jofi stuffed toys. Which we assure is a coincidence.

Happy Saturday! Today, we're remembering Alexander Gotthold Ephraim Freud (1866-1943), born April 19, 1866, in Vienna. He married Sabine Sophie Schreiber in 1909, had at least one son, and lived in Hove, England, before passing in Toronto. A life across borders.

Anna Freud revolutionised child psychoanalysis. Unlike Sigmund, she focused on children, creating a distinct therapy respecting their unique needs and expressions, often through play and art, not a couch. Has her legacy impacted you?
