Had a dream that Dichroma were about to play Saturday Night Live and I don't know why there was no anxiety about not having rehearsed, who was in the band, or where my cables were. But I did wonder what the point was as we have no physical media to sell.

That time I was supposed to interview Hayao Miyazaki for a magazine, crashed Roger Ebert's interview, and then afterwards was told mine had been cancelled and what was I doing there.

My favourite thing when watching mixing tips for music on Youtube are those moments when they make a change, bypass to the original signal, and then say 'wow. listen to that difference'. And I sit there thinking 'I don't hear any change'.

Had a dream last night that Alex Lifeson called and asked me if I wanted to be back-up guitarist on the forthcoming Rush tour. Which is weird because A) I don't know him, and B) aside from Red Sector A, I also can't play any of their songs straight through.

I did a survey today on AI generated music, where they asked after playing snippets of several songs which ones were AI -- and I got them all correct.

Maybe someday I'll be good enough to do this all the time.

Saw Garbage last night, and they were great. Maybe a little too reliant on the backing tracks, but Shirley knows how to work a crowd.

Well, I think I'm about ready to put a wrap on the 'acoustic' EP that I've been working on since September. 11 songs completed, so it's no longer an EP 🤣. Just need to add bass to one track and then I can look at releasing it soon.
