Wonder how hard it would be to have your vertices get pulled on your model when at high speeds in Resonite. I don't know the proper terminology for it. It almost seems like a smear frame. Wonder if that's too much of a performance nightmare though since it'd be on a model with IK.

Wonder if we'll have any solution for shadows cutting off in the distance for big maps in #Resonite. One reason I really dislike making maps with a sun with shadows on is that shadows get cut off. I'm sure there is some technical thing going on for this but some sort of hacky fix would be lovely.

Wish I knew more about particles to figure out what Resonite is missing on that front. I'd love to see Resonite enter it's animation phase. I'm guessing it would need shaders to help in certain areas. Thinking, for now, Dragonball Z shenanigans. Or like, snapping and a rip in the sky happens.

Fun fact, The bottom of the Nemoy has two latch doors. We were wanting to attach a grappling hook where the pilots could grab a controller with a camera. Then grab objects with grabbable or even people. Dynamic Bone component w/ gravity just didn't zero out properly. Was always off to the side.

All I'm saying is, VRChat took many features from Resonite. Resonite should focus on allowing players to bring their Unity Packages from VRC and just pop them into the new Unity SDK. Bam, everything on the model done besides the toggles and shaders. If we can make that easy for users.. hell yeah.

So proud that Froox has been hammering out the Unity SDK. Once he's got it fleshed out where it's not as abrasive to get into. I'm going to give it a try. I believe @wispywoo.bsky.social gave me the OK back then to bring their worlds into Neos/Resonite. I'd like to test out using the Unity SDK.

If Resonite sponsored it's creators. I'd love to see about getting my team in that program Those peeps deserve to be paid for the love they bring in.

Man, custom shaders will be such a game changer for #Resonite. The first thing I want to make is a grass shader and water. It'll also be the point where things could go wrong. People making unoptimized shaders or even crasher shaders. One day optimized grass, you shall be mine.

I do hope #Resonite fixes the audio issue where you can't easily stream the platform with sound to Discord or software like OBS. Yeah you can work around it, but there are so many of these tiny annoyances that push people away.

With holidays being back to back. We took a mini break. We will be starting back up on the Skating rink in the new year. Thinking 1st or 2nd depending on if we are feeling well. Happy new year! #Resonite

We put a couple hours in today for figuring out turning and strafing for our skating system. We've hit a snag when it comes to spinning while using the full body version when skating. We'll... slap at it more tomorrow.
