This is too close to home. I literally had my yearly physical this week and my blood test indicated my cholesterol was slightly elevated lol. So, listen to Robin, he's always right.

Had a lovely weekend at the coast with @zthefox.bsky.social . It was very nice to get away for a bit. The weather was perfect , 60 degrees and clear skies all weekend.

It's been a month. This is the last photo I took with her, just before we left to go see the vet. We didn't go with the end planned out, but in the back of our heads we knew that it might go there. I cherish this moment. We just snuggled on the floor, comforting her best we could. Miss you puppy.

I have a pretty large decision to make that I've been contemplating for weeks. The risk of the unknown is scary but it could also be amazing. Being indecisive sucks!

2025 was odd. It started with a family member in the hospital, and me spending the most time I ever have in one. I dealt with intense family drama and we said goodbye to Ash. But I also released a book and found more success than I could have ever hoped for. Here's to 26 being a bit more consistent.

Thank you games that let you turn off pixelated fonts <3 They can be fun, but they're super hard for me to read at times.

We brought her home today. We still have some things we need to frame and put up, but it feels nice to have a little spot for her.

Not an anime, but read My Remise

It's been a week and I still miss her so much. I miss her weight on our bed. Her greeting us with a toy when we got home. Her begging for food. Her smell. Her pants. Her silliness. Taking her on walks. Her wet nose. Her smile. Her following me everywhere, my shadow. I miss everything about her.

This brought me a stupid amount of joy right now. I love 2d animation, and this is so incredibly well done.

This was from last year. She was tucking, chasing my brother's dog around, even at 14! The last shot...just majestic. She loved the coast.

Google trying to ai every message and photo I have is starting to drive me crazy. Is it this bad in the apple ecosystem?

For those wanting more answers, Ash's front right leg became very swollen on Thursday night. She couldn't stand at all since she also has long term back issues. On Friday, we took her to an emergency vet twice, where they said it was unlikely to be a sprain. On X-ray, they found a lump in her lung,

The very first time we met her. She was tucked away at the very back. It was pretty much love at first sight. She returned, and moved around shelters, but that was just so she could find her way to us. I knew right away she was the one and never regretted a single day.

I'm gonna be broken for a while. This hurts so much.

She's gone. No more pain and she didn't suffer. We were by her side the whole time. She gave us one last wonderful memory making us laugh as she scarfed down her goodbye brownie. She will always be our goof ball. Ash I love you so much, you were the best dog ever. Good bye my sweet girl.

Amazing how a bunch of broke-ass furries can keep churning out amazing art, stories and animations constantly but billion-dollar companies are like “nooo we need AI, making stuff is haaard and our investors want more moneyyy.”

We switched to Apple Music today, and I was listening to some stuff when "The Silence" by Manchester Orchestra came on. First off, it's one of their best songs, go listen to it, but it turns out a song about generational family trauma hits HARD when you are dealing with that IRL. Cathartic, though.

I swear, Illinois is cursed for me. An absolutely amazing con and weekend but I have to come home to some incredibly fucked up family drama when picking up my dog from my parents. I'm trying to focus on the good memories, but I just feel numb right now.

Waterways was the first furry and first gay book I ever read. My friend let me borrow it shortly after I joined the fandom and accepted my sexuality. It was profoundly impactful on me. @kyellgold.com has inspired me for years, and it's safe to say I wouldn't be here without him. This one's special.

On our way to the St Louis airport. I'm definitely ready to get home, but that PCD is already setting in.

I already miss being a puppy. At the concert last night I kept seeing phantom hood and fursuit heads at the concert. Too bad the real world can't be as fun.

What an absolutely incredible show. It's hard to say goodbye to them. Thank you Foxing for the music and memories. They closed out with a song that features some of my favorite lyrics: "To anyone who wants me at all Does anybody want me at all?" The answer is yes, and you will be missed by many.

Made it to St Louis for my concert. Thank you to everyone who made MFF great. I might have only been there for just a day, but damn did I have a good time.
