I’m not home as much as I’d like to be, but the past few days have been awesome! Onwards to the next thing.

It’s been exactly one year, so in returning to the beach house after Megaplex this project has come full circle.

A recently completed commission for @larscis.com. This is their dragon character and his valuable assistant and companion Goldfish.

I'm also going to post a separate thanks to @bino.gay and @lomg.fyi for making Club F.Y.N.N. this year possible by building the world. It's only separate because I hit the page limit on the last post.

Oh and one last thing? Some fun numbers they didn't go over at Closing Ceremonies. With the exception of the outage on Thursday, the encoder passed over 11.5 million frames with a total of 44 dropped across all three metrics.

For me, Furality Somna was the @furality.org experience I'd been hoping for over the past three years. I've been critical of them in the past, but they've shown active signs of being better, inside and out. All of those words I had put up at the Club closing applies to everyone there.

It's time to wake up from the most wonderful of dreams, as much as I don't want to (I'm still randomly tearing up, the PCD is strong). I can't wait to help out with whatever we have in store!

And after all that…I’m stuck in Denver for the night.

Imagine having a *whole week* to set up your video village! I even had time this morning to vacuum the tabletops of any debris caused by the setup. It's been an amazing year so far and I can't wait to see what shenanigans we get up to this year at @furality.org!

So to recap FWA 2025... 1. We ran the most powerful PA system the fandom has seen 2. @djgoofyvr.bsky.social brought us one of the first live timecoded sets to a furcon 3. @jjbbllkk.bsky.social absolutely killed it (probably one of the best sets I've mixed ever) And I can't wait to do it again.

So with the April-May Con Sprint behind me, I have to say that between TFF, LVFC, and FWA, I have the privilege of working with some of the most talented, most intelligent, and kindest people in the world. But beyond the work, and more importantly, they're amazing friends.

The great thing about sticker bombing your Pelican is that it’s a constantly changing art piece. This is the latest evolution of my VR rig’s Pelican, featuring stickers collected between last year’s FWA and this year’s.

Sometimes it’s surreal to me how fast things move. Just hours ago, I was with you all in VR from home. Tonight that’ll be from New York (if I don’t just get to the hotel and pass out - that was a lot of dancing at the end)

You know, for all of those Arizona toll roads.

You know, compared to last week, I feel much better! I'm really happy that I spent 12 hours on 101.3 The Heat rather than that developing into Inferno 102.4 or even further into 104.9 Catatonic State Radio. All of this is to say that con crud is a hell of a drug.

I finally felt well enough to set my VR rig back up, though I'm still kinda weak and dizzy, so no VR for me right now. I feel honored to have met so many of you and there are also many who more who aren't on here. And I get to see this every time I sit down at my desk.

So according to my thermometer, my body has tuned into a radio station today: 101.3 The Heat - the best of the 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s, 10s, and today!

Made it home last night! Everyone at @nordicfuzzcon.org was absolutely lovely and even with 2 solid days of travel and some con crud, I would absolutely do it again. Now if only United's booking system would let me reserve things a year out...
