I’m ready to leave teaching. Test scores came out today and we are being judged already. Let me just say that I’m suppose to raise scores form the previous grade even if we don’t teach the same thing.

Another thing Landry said that really annoyed me - he said the cost per student was $16,000/yr. The state pays around $4,000 per student and the districts pay the rest per pupil based on the taxes raised in that community. He also includes fed money and makes it sound like it all comes from BR.

Trying to take money that is already in use by the schools and force them to pay us more with it. We need that money in the classrooms. This is not coming from new state money.

They were lying yesterday about MFP. They were including fed dollars in that even though when MFP is truly discussed in only involves state and local.
