I think AMC overestimated Daryl as a character the GA is interested in. For years, they thought he was the cash cow of TWD because his fans were LOUD, but when you look at the ratings of TOWL, you realize that Rick & Michonne are the cash cows, and their fans aren’t just loud, they’re also watchers.
