Since I watched #TOWL first, right after I finished it, the first episode I ever watched of TWD was 6x10. I remember messaging my friend and being like, “Oh my gawd, do this Daryl person and Jesus person end up together too?!” The “no” I received set the tone of my entire relationship with Daryl.

One of the most FASCINATING things about Michonne within The Walking Dead fandom is that she is an overwhelmingly liked character. UNTIL You talk about her and Rick. You talk about her as a mother figure. You rank her above the other women. So she can fight with/for your fave - but that’s it? Ok.

You know, I want to be mad about this, but after The Acolyte, I am conflicted. The way these Black characters are treated like shit with no support and then get cancelled or discarded is not ok. Maybe it’s better that Danai only taps in occasionally.

Yes, according to the schedule I made up in my mind, I was supposed to post an update on my AU #Richonne fic today. HOWEVER, instead I am rewatching #TOWL and talking to myself about the episodes like I haven’t already had these conversations with myself. Blame Netty.

I just want to provide the Netflix description as reference material so that when people start saying things like, “No Daryl/Negan reunion?”, “I thought this was going to be about the CRM.”, “I didn’t expect it to be a romance.” We can all be on the same page that the plot of #TOWL was not hidden.
