‘Lady Gregory in America’ comes to Gort this September Lady Gregory In America, a delightful short opera by Colm Toibin and Alberto Caruso, is coming to Gort this September. It tells the funny, alarming, historic tale of Lady Gregory leading the Abbey Theatre Players’ tour of the United States in 1911-12 when they performed JM Synge’s The Playboy of the Western World.
