29° tonight. The highest don’t allow people to warm up during the day. The county doesn’t care.

Tonight, temperatures in Portland will drop to 29°. Tragically, our shelters don’t open unless it’s 25° or colder, leaving many of our neighbors out in the cold. This is inhumane. Every share and every dollar counts.

Update: So far , with generous assistance from the community we have managed to get 19 people (including BIPOC, disabled elders, and trans youth), 2 cats, 8 dogs into hotel and motel rooms for 2-3 nights each. Please continue to share and donate if you’re able. It’s going to get colder…

A sweaty 🥵 update: 💖🏩💖 Thanks to a kind and generous community, we have raised $11,442.17 (CA 3107.99 & Venmo 8334.18) With those funds we were able to get 41 humans (including BIPOC, disabled, elderly, pregnant, children), 14 dogs, and 1 cat set-up in hotels for 2-7 nights depending needs. 1/2
