I largely enjoyed this collection of YA Horror stories. I'd give it a strong 4/5 stars overall. There were probably one or two stories in this that, to me, didn't feel like it matched the teen audience or prompt of the collection title. It's very solid rep and tribute of Black girls/teens in horror.

A lot of Resistance Storytelling leans way to heavily on the "knowledge is power" narrative that evil governments operate in secret and if everyone just knew what was going on, someone would stop it. It doesn't hold up well when your evil government operates proudly, blatantly, and in the open.
