So jysn get it replaced after 5 years if you are having it to regulate periods / hormone probs cos they forgot to tell me that. Thankfully the internet exists.

So I've realised the perimenopause symptoms I have been having for almost a year has been coming from my MIRENA COIL of all things, they extend it to 8 years but they don't tell you the hormone halves so it no longer helps if you have it in for period issues.
