I got this game from a kickstarter in 2014. I’ve never really played it because it’s super complicated but I love the art. My 7-year-old and I made up our own rules. I’m glad he likes the art too.

I recently received this as a gift. While I am glad I own it, it suffers from the same issue as any other omnibus; it’s a pain in the ass to physically read it because it’s huge. It’s frustrating that this is the only edition of the manga, physical or digital.

Parents, please check your kids’ candy this Halloween. I’ve just found an ancient metal whistle with the inscription “QUIS EST ISTE QUI VENIT" inside a Snickers bar. I blew it and heard a note of infinite distance, and now I’m haunted by a figure in pale, fluttering draperies. Be safe.

A great example of how the human mind works is how we build houses and buildings. There is so much infrastructure behind the walls. Plumbing. Electrical. Supports. And yet walls and ceilings are (almost always) made in such a way that they need to be demolished to reach the infrastructure inside.

I think it’s important that more people know the difference between cake donuts and yeast donuts. I personally love a cake donut but really don’t care for yeast donuts. The cake donuts in Jeremy’s photos look great. Try dipping one in a hot cup of coffee today!

PSA that The Thing (2011) is a prequel to The Thing (1982) and not a remake. It was just very poorly marketed. It’s a fun movie if you go in not taking it too seriously. It’s best as a double feature since the very end of the 2011 film is the first scene of the 1982 film.
