PTSD disproportionately affects service members. In an RCT, RISE—an interoception-based training—reduced PTSD symptoms indirectly by increasing acceptance of uncomfortable internal sensations.

Regardless of condition, lower levels of body trust & gastric interoception were related to higher intentions for binge eating as well as restriction.
