Of all the things i might have rightly expected from a 2 1/2 hour overamped epic with Chalamet playing a table-tennis prodigy, a virtual retread of The Oscar was not one. And yet, here we are. . .

I did like #Hamnet quite a bit—maybe not the greatest movie ever made but definitely solid. That said, I could not have picked a worse day to the damn thing if I tried. . .
