Woke up this morning to our 1st snow of the season! December 3rd - Wow that's about a month overdue but grateful it has finally arrived.

31 years ago today, we went on our first date to see the film "Star Trek Generations" at the Mann's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Not only has our hair color & cat changed; but it seems even the name of this famous movie theatre is different. Time marches on...

Yesterday we celebrated Alex's 61st rotation around the sun with a morning hike and then lunch at one of our favorite restaurants. Today the fun continues with a murder mystery play "Mousetrap" by Agatha Christie!

Steven's Mom turned 98 today. We surprised her with a chocolate birthday croissant. The family will gather this Sunday to celebrate with a brunch & birthday cake. The entree will be quiche using her own recipe. 😍

It's Pride Weekend in Denver! Here's our flashback pic of our first Denver Pride event back in 2013. Thank goodness for the feather boa because our outfits definitely don't scream Pride!

Deer Daycare?? Yesterday morning around 9 we saw a fawn in our yard. Sometimes Moms will drop them off somewhere safe and go forage for food. We checked on it throughout the day always keeping our distance. We were getting concerned it may have been abandoned but right at 5:00pm, Mom showed up!

Bianca Del Rio loves her "Rolodex of Hate" and we love our "Rolodex of Lost Friendships & Forgotten Birthdays". It has been dusted and put back on the shelf until next year's Spring Cleaning. It did remind us today was a dear friends' birthday. Social Disaster Avoided. Birthday Wishes Sent. 🙂

A few neighbors dropped by this morning to admire (aka eat) the lilac bush blooms. Fortunately, they were unable to reach the top branches so we can enjoy some flowers too this Spring.

Today it's snowing with a high of 31 degrees. We are so grateful we took a walk above the neighborhood a few days ago. The temperature was in the low 70's and it was a beautiful day!

Okay, we are at least 45 years older than their targeted audience; but we are thrilled that Netflix has renewed "Heartstopper"! How better adjusted we would have been, seeing positive LGBTQ+ storylines when we were coming of age back in the early 1980's. en.softonic.com/articles/net...

Celebrating 30 years of being each other's Valentine. Looks like our youth has vanished along with our sense of fashion. 😉

Well, it only took us 2 years and 2 months, but we finally did it! We have painted over the "Poo Brown" bathroom from the previous owners to a brighter, lighter "Vanilla Cream". The room is much brighter & may we say seems much cleaner. 😉

Despite the temperature dropping to 7 degrees today, the mule deer are out and visiting our neighbors.

What a difference a day makes! Clear blue sky but a chilly 10 degrees!

The snow we wanted on Christmas has finally arrived. Luckily, we brought our yellow Canas inside a few months ago.

Despite being a bit low on Holiday Spirit this year, another Christmas Tree has crept into the dining room. Perhaps we might manage to get the Big Tree up before the Big Guy comes down the chimney!

Our wonderful neighbor made us a fabulous miniature Xmas tree. We added it to our nativity scene as those wise men needed someplace to put all those gifts!

A good friend suggested we watch the documentary "Casa Bonita Mi Amor". We would highly recommend it to all our Denver peeps and fans of "South Park". Restoring this old, neglected restaurant was a true labor of love filled with blood, sweaty & lots and lots of money. #Denver #CasaBonita
