I spent the past few months talking to scientists whose EPA grants were terminated by DOGE. Cuts included: ❌ clean air & water projects ❌ speeding up chemical testing ❌ alternatives to animal testing ❌ rural wastewater analysis to detect pandemics ❌ DNA sequencing to combat antibiotic resistance
