It’s getting really fucking bad.

Exploring an idea I had last year. I want it to look like windblown leaves are revealing an invisible figure. I think I may need a vacuum former to get the effect I want, without crippling my thumbs. #art #leatherwork #sculpture

Finished. I attached the leaves to the grapevine with high temp hot glue. It was the least invasive/obvious method, and will make any repairs easy for the buyer. #art #halloween #spooky #leather#fall #leaves

The colors are always a work in progress, and somewhat out of my control. Leather is always different, even across the same hide, so they take dyes and finishes differently. Still, pretty happy, especially with the black spots on the reds. #art #halloween #leatherwork #jackolantern #decorations
