Leeds has risen to 77th place in the QS World University Rankings, strengthening its position in the world's top 100 universities for 2027 🎉 Climbing nine places this year, Leeds has been in the top 100 globally for nine years in a row, stepping up to 12th among UK institutions on the list.

A Leeds alum will be inaugurated as President of Ireland following the country’s election vote. Catherine Connolly graduated in 1981 with an MSc in Clinical Psychology. Catherine then worked as a clinical psychologist and barrister, before entering politics in 1999:
