finished spyro 2: season of flame HUGE improvements all-around. levels are much bigger but make up for it by having actual land to stand on AND A MAP!!! the ice breath mechanic is fun and level objectives are different enough to not feel samey. easily the best GBA spyro game yet

finished spyro: season of ice it suffers from the usual pitfalls of isometric games (visibility, depth perception), amplified by every level being surrounded by pit. add the complete lack of walls, and you're CONSTANTLY in danger of dying at any point. game is fine otherwise

whew, done with spyro 3. it was... disappointing it's still a good game, but the new playable characters are so underutilized, and the bosses are just flat-out lame. as an overall package i think spyro 2 is the better game, but my fav is still spyro 1
