This Thursday @ Social Good Place: a local group is hosting the screening of the documentary The Palestine Exception, with a Q&A session with a medical worker who has provided aid in Gaza. Ticket sales will fund further humanitarian aid work in Gaza.

This is such a lovely and important idea - as Social Good Place works on our accessibility infrastructure, we’d love to be available for such events!

Gatherings for people with cognitive impairment and their caregivers are relatively cheap and easy to run — often the only expense is a small rental fee for the space.

For the Portlanders who want a better world, but know others are the experts - you can build a foundation, a fundraiser, or a supportive nonprofit using our affordable event space, collaborative workspace memberships, and network potential!

We want to amplify the impact of others working for good. We do this by offering affordable event space, coworking memberships, and pathways to fiscal sponsorship.

Portland nonprofits impacted by federal defunding - including organizations for arts, humanitarian aid, and agriculture - are facing challenges in doing their work. Some orgs have stepped up to support each other via raising funding for others who’ve lost similar grants or sharing office space.

We’re starting a series on our Instagram reflecting how people do good in Portland, and how they can do that work at Social Good Place. Here’s the first video - definitely a labor of love if not expertise!
