It is easy to call the community a cult when all you hear about it is cultish behavior. Those not within the community do not have the same perspective as those within it. You, who have been shown to be a habitual liar, would of course hear "everyone thinks it's a cult". That's what you feed them.

Yesterday I had a fellow YouTuber ask me how we ended up being a credible source of information to our audiences and I realized that you almost can’t be a professional creator /without/ doing that. “Authentic” is very very connected to “trustworthy.”

This is one of those moments where, mentally, my brain responds with; "well, yeah, duh, of course it would've", but then I recall which country I currently reside in.

So far, my one grievance with the website is the racism against robots, lol.
