I agree wholeheartedly. It's not that I am against technological tools - in fact I built much of my working life among them - but I prefer to work tools rather than have the tools work me.

33 years ago this morning I was one of six crew rescued from a pirate radio ship off the English coast. I’ll never forget that storm, nor lose my respect for the RNLI and RAF crews that came to our aid. Thankfully we all lived to fight another day.

Mostly lurking, occasionally enthusing about public transport and independent/ pirate radio.
