From ICE raids to efforts to cut off Medi-Cal and food assistance, the attacks keep coming … and now they are putting immigrant children’s education at risk. Impacted programs include support for English Language Learners (ELLs), after-school programs, adult literacy, and teacher training.

After laying off thousands of federal employees, violating people’s rights, and deporting innocent, hardworking individuals - now this.

We are seeing “agents” in masks and tactical gear, driving unmarked vehicles, detaining individuals without presenting identification or any clear agency affiliation. Who are these people? Are they truly ICE agents? My colleagues and I reached out to the Department of Homeland security and ICE.
