The UK Health Security Agency has issued an amber heat health alert for the South East due to forecast high temperatures.  To help keep our waste and recycling crews safe while working in the heat, collections next week will start earlier than usual.

There will be RNLI lifeguards at Hastings Pelham, Hastings Pier and St Leonards Marina beaches this weekend and every weekend until 27 September. The lifeguards will be there daily from 18 July to 6 September.

Artist/s wanted! We are looking for an artist or artists to work on an exciting project to deliver new artwork for the columns in Bottle Alley. Since 2017, the art installation Wavelength has featured at Bottle Alley, brightening up the walkway by bringing colour to the columns.

School provides a vital experience for all children to access and experience the arts. For a high percentage of children, school is the only place where they'll engage with arts and creativity. Arts provision in school is declining. This puts the entirety of arts access for many children at risk.
