Hastings Neighbourhood Board has thanked almost 2,000 people who responded to their online survey and the hundreds they spoke to across Hastings over the summer. Feedback will be used to put together four-year and ten-year plans to submit to the government by 28 November.

Last night, dedicated volunteer Graham Furness was presented with this year's Order of 1066 Award, recognising his exceptional and longstanding service to Hastings. The award was presented at Hastings Town Hall by the Mayor, Cllr Becca Horn, as part of the annual Hastings Week celebrations.

An updated housing allocations policy takes effect from Monday 20 October, aimed at making the best use of available housing for Hastings’ residents. The policy changes will be made in stages, and everyone affected will be contacted by housing officers to explain what the changes mean to them.
