It just got a re-release like last month or something internationally. It has only been from 2021 that we have been getting consistent mainstream anime movie releases. We had the new ghibli movie release last year in May even though the Japanese release was like somehwere in July of 2023

Listening to random songs from TTPD and this album is aging very well despite critics being very vocal about how uninspiring it is. I still think the production could have been more interesting but I am finding it very hard to skip the songs because all of it sounds good

Kalki movie is not even good for all this drama. The acting was bad, the 600 cr budget did not cover the shitty vfx in the movie, the dune-madmax ripoff topped with an uncharismatic try hard male lead. Amitabh Bachchan was the only good thimg about the movie.

For people outside the anime community or who are just very new to it, action shounen specifically jump series that get fantastic animation always draw big crowds . Even if the stories are just average, the visuals are always a treat to watch
