Using decals/overlays for blending between displacement terrain and brushwork is really great. I suggest every mapper to try it, and to learn various info_overlay tricks in Hammer - dragging corners, setting U/V tiling manually, using render order, and scaling.

Rewatched Taffin (1988) for a laugh. It's not an especially terrible film, just a bit medicore and the deviations from the book make it strange. It is made up for however by some hilariously bad line deliveries, mainly by Pierce "Then Maybe You Shouldn't Be Living Heeeeeeere!" Brosnan.

Was talking about Batman films with someone earlier today and had a thought. Is Adam West's portrayal of Bruce the one who best handled his trauma? Of course the 60s show was a comedy so there'd be no room for the usual brooding and angst but he's probably the most well-adjusted of the lot.

A quick trick to get around clashing colours is to just make one far darker than the other. Doesn't work for every case but it can reduce the eye strain while you figure out something more permanent.
