Being childless at 47 has me realizing had I had one with my first fiancé back in my early 20's, they'd be post college by now. And if by any chance I could end up being a dad by 50, I may not be alive to see the kid go to college.

First two pages of 'One Night in Tokyo', a short story that takes place between the first and second volumes of Kleo of the Streets. It will be available only in the printed edition of Volume 2. All 3 printed volumes of Kleo should be availble to sell by the end of October.

I had to do some hustling / calling in favors, but I finally have a proper workstation. No more underpowered equipment for me. On top of video editing, music and the comics biz, I'll start making plans on streaming. But I have zero plans of trying to be some sort of 'influencer'.

Seeing all the vids from people complaining about Anime NYC makes me feel a lot better.

I'm usually massively hyped after attending a convention. After Anime NYC yesterday, I can't help but feel very down. From not being able to get a table to being there completely alone and not hanging with anyone, it's put me in a bad place. I should have skipped out.

Time for conventions shenanigans.

I bought my first pair of jeans in almost 4 years. Considering my dire need for new clothes, I laughed at the few seconds I considered this a splurge purchase...

I create mature content (Murinae), and content that isn't (Kleo, Twilight Forest). Anything I produce on my own will not be censored nor will I be told to censor. If that prevents me from selling at some conventions or in some stores, then so be it.

Today, I recieved the final pages for Kleo of the Streets: Maiden Love Chord from my long term collaborator Sander Tulk. After nearly a decade and over 600 pages, my Kleo saga is done. Next step is the digital version, which will go up on GlobalComix this Friday ;)

Now that print copies of my comics are coming, I think the big thing I need to do actively is get some scripts finished. Start trying to garner publishing interest in them. As much as I would like to, I'm too money poor to financially produce them all.

I really disliked Fixed. That 'adult for the sake of adult' kind of comedy gets on my nerves when there's no meat on the bones. Though not as bad as Sausage Party, which I fully hated. Having said that, the animators should be massively praised for their work on it.

Me figuring out a proper printing production budget when I don't have much of one to speak of. we're talking like close to $1k in two weeks.

Full of caffeine and Taco Bell while repairing tanks / blowing up buildings in Battlefield 6. It's been so long since I've felt this kind of gamer happy.

Going through every bit to make sure I didn't screw anything up. I'm expecting to send away for the Kleo prints this week.

Had a blood test this week and my basic metabolic levels for the most part are fairly normal. My hemoglobin though has me being borderline anemic. Which is hilarious considering how much of a carnivore I am.

Watched Jurassic World Rebirth: Cons: Thinnest plot since Jurassic Park 3. Shoehorned, 1 note characters. Pros: Awesome set pieces. And biggest pro on why we bother to see these movies; Dinosaurs. I liked it better than the last two, for sure.

I tried my best but I just can't seem to get into Dandandan.

With the damn price to print in color, the 3rd volume of Kleo will be pricey compared to the first two (which are BnW). Seeing other creators do it, I think I will go ahead and have an alternate black and white edition as well.

Damn, my new laptop can't handle the 64gb ram chips I put into it (it kept having issues with shutting odd randomly). So I put back the 32gb ones it came will and working fine now. But what to do with the bigger ones? Maybe I should sell them...

I started drinking hot coffee today, because I miss it. But a lot more black since I don't want to hurt the diabetes. A tiny bit of cream, two packets of sugar substitute, and I am good now. My hospital stay did this to me, because I drank coffee with nearly every meal.

Gonna put in the order for new test copies of all current Murinae material. Added issue numbers (something i should do with the GlobalComix editions...). Combined Issue 6 into 5 because they were both short compared to earlier ones. Issue #4 cover by @f0x_b0y01
