Remember: fascism thrives on apathy. The autocrats want you to tune out. They want to overwhelm you. They want you to give up. Don’t give them want they want. Stay in this fight. Remain vigilant. And let’s keep building.

I think in the near future, it will be especially important to have effective science communicators. As someone who has been doing this for a while, I thought it might be useful to explain my major principles for science communication that I use in my own work 🧵:

Vanity Fair reports: “Trump transition team had a meeting today to discuss sexual assault allegations against Sec of Defense nominee @PeteHegseth.” They are, after all, a job prerequisite these days for the Trump White House.
