I heard on the news on my commute to work that illegal immigrants are now required to register. I wonder how long it is before I, as a trans woman, will be required to register. I won't but it's a sobering moment in a string of sobering moments.

How messed up is our country? I am trans. I am traveling on business to Texas later in the week. Friends and family are deeply concerned about my safety... think about it. I'm not able to travel in my own country.
