Pie done, time for it to set and cool

Making a cherry pie today. Using this new pie pan my mom gave me, its got handles so should be easier getting it outta the oven. Never baked anything on glass tho so this will be new.

Blackberry pie i made today for the first time ever. Only mishap was i forgot to seal the edges so a bit of filling escaped during bake but otherwise yummy. First time using a pie bird as well and it worked great, the bottom crust was nicely cooked because of it.

Im like 99% convinced that Hardware Store by Weird Al is just a song about Menards. I certainly felt the same way went I went in one for the first time, "huh....would ya look at all that stuff"

And done...i think, the crust is nice and crispy and I dont think I burnt it and it smells delicious so I think it actually turned out decent.
