The latest episode of #LowerDecks brought me SO much joy! To see so many characters I loved growing! Andrew J. Robinson is such a gift! I met him at a convention years ago and gushed how much I loved his book “A stitch in time”. He signed his autograph “Never tell the same lie twice” for me. ❤️

I read, watch and listen to lots of feedback from players online about their experiences of accessibility in games (Please never stop! 🙏🏻). Now and again in reply to one of these will be a comment to the effect of: “maybe X game/ genre isn’t for you?” Ha. No. Not today, Satan.

Finished Dragon Age: The Veilguard, it mostly turned into Dragon Age: Wrath of the Lich Fling ❤️ Emmrich Volkarin and Manfred made it memorable for me. I struggled to resonate with, and find enjoyment in a lot of other areas. The combat though, especially as a Mage, felt fun! 🧙🏻‍♂️

I think The Mitchells Vs The Machines might be one of my favourite films!

I find it so frustrating when subtitles are censored for profanity when the audio dialogue they support isn’t! It’s about equal access to the same information as hearing people. Understanding what someone is saying when they swear is as important for context as it is for storytelling.

I love my PlayStation 30th Anniversary DualSense! 😍

One feature I really like in Dragon Age: The Veilguard is the Glossary of Dragon Age terminology. It’s great for me as a retuning fan of the franchise to remind myself of important bits of lore, and it’s a great resource for new players to get more context.

Just tried the Cloud Game Streaming Beta on my PlayStation Portal and I am SO impressed by the quality of the stream. Played a little Kena: Bridge of Spirits and it was gorgeous! 🤩

I’ve been playing some more Dragon Age: Veilguard, and Emmrich is such a standout character for me. I’ve enjoyed his story so far, and the Memorial Gardens of the Grand Necropolis are beautiful! Zero regrets re-rolling my mage from Grey Warden to Mourn Watch 💀🖤

There are some things I like about Veilguard, and somethings don’t. I agree with some of the reviews I’ve read that the dialogue clunky. My biggest issue is that between the art style and character face animations I feel I’m in some uncanny-AI-generated-valley. Looking forward to playing more ☺️
